A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside company that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its own results. We do not keep or log those search terms on our systems.

When you email us, we retain the message as needed to answer it. The correspondence remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Swisher County Criminal History does not keep, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It provides general directions to the Swisher County Sheriff, the combined County and District Clerk, the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor data is not used to create consumer reports or personal files about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted through one of those tools is governed by that provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its own retention, processing, and disclosure practices. Read those terms before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Swisher County government, court portals, Texas agencies, legal resources, or outside search services. Once you leave this site, the destination's privacy policy controls. Review it before providing personal information.
Some advertising companies may follow activity across websites to select targeted ads. That tracking occurs through their systems and policies, not ours.
